Through the use of presentations, case studies, discussions, and practical training methods, the LNG Fleet and Marine Transportation Safety Audit Training Course at Imperial Corporate Training Institute aims to equip participants with the technical and analytical skills necessary to perform thorough inspections on LNG carriers’ and associated fleets of LNG vessels, as well as assess marine safety management systems (MMS) and confirm their compliance with applicable international standards, including those set forth by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL), and the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.

In addition to being informed of these regulations, the course will train professionals on how to effectively identify safety-critical systems subject to operational risk, how to review compliance documentation, and how to assess preparedness for emergencies within both an LNG carrier’s and a marine transportation company’s fleets through a structured audit process. Finally, by blending an understanding of the requirements of the applicable international regulations with practical auditing techniques, participants will learn to enhance the safety performance of LNG-related fleets, reduce incidents, and enhance compliance throughout LNG marine operations.
