The Imperial Corporate Training Institute’s Industrial Gases Processing and Handling Training Course provides an all-inclusive professional development program. This course gives participants a detailed overview of how to produce, treat and process industrial gas products, as well as transport them safely, in support of the petrochemical and energy industries. The course provides full-life-cycle information on gas products (e.g., natural gas and LNG), including extraction, conditioning, advanced processing and storage/distribution. Participants learn about the technology involved in gas separation and purification, and the importance of industrial gas products as feedstock materials for downstream processes in petrochemical operations.

In addition to the theory, this training course focuses on advanced operational practices related to cryogenics, pipeline operation and optimization of systems for improved energy efficiency. Participants will be able to identify the challenges associated with handling gas products in the real world and how they can address these challenges through their learning, including the safety of these products, optimisation of performance and compliance with applicable regulations. After completing the course, participants will have gained knowledge and operational insights that will allow them to work with confidence in an LNG facility, gas processing plant or petrochemical facilities where gas systems are an integral part of the facility’s operation.
